Last week, 6th-8th grade students participated in an exciting Escape Room activity as part of their PBIS reward. (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Before leaving their designated room, each class had to complete the tasks and instructions posted on the SmartBoards. In this case, students needed to survive an apocalypse and outbreak of a mutated H1N1 virus! They also had to create an antidote to help their teammates who became infected! Students were allowed to call for help to a designated call center if they had difficulities finding answers. Congrats to the grade level winners for “surviving” this terrible outbreak!
