We are so very proud of our amazing Administrators for recently being awarded special honors! Mr. Raffel was surprised at our recent Board Meeting for being recognized as the Illinois Principals Association Elementary Principal of the Year! Mrs. Stover, Special Populations Director, was recognized as a 2019 recipient of the James V. And Dorothy B. Moon Scholarship!

The Scholastic Bowl Team made it to the Championship Match at the IVC Tournament! They lost a tough final match and ended up with 2nd Place! Great Job, Team!

Congratulations to our Math Team for placing 2nd overall at the IVC Math Contest at Richland last night! The 6th grade team placed 3rd, 7th grade placed 3rd, and 8th grade placed 2nd overall. Haven Perdomo placed 2nd for 7th grade, Abby Henson placed 4th and Jack Mills placed 3rd for 8th grade in the individual competition. In the team portion, 6th grade came in 2nd, 7th grade came in 1st, and 8th grade came in 1st. Congrats on an amazing job representing Morris Grade School!

In honor of Autism Awareness month, For the Love of Lattes once again hosted an Autism Open House: There’s a Latte to Learn, last Friday. They prepared over 90 drinks for staff, who showed support with their Autism Awareness shirts. Thank you for supporting this great program!
