
On Friday, two of the Lady Braves punched their tickets to the IESA Cross Country State Finals! In a fiercely competitive Girls 2-mile race, Emme Bibly and Cora Passerman earned a pair of the top individual qualifying spots, and will represent Morris Grade School in this weekend's 4A Girls race in Normal, IL. Cross Country heads to Sectionals tonight at Troy! The Runnin' Braves fueled up at Dave's Dawgs on Wednesday to prepare, and look to qualify for State competition this evening! Go Braves!!

Morris Grade School students in every 5th Grade class created a scarecrow based on characters from novels they have read in class. Also students in Kindergarten and 1st Grade made a scarecrow. Check out their hard work and be sure to vote for your favorite MGS Scarecrow!

Recently, Nalani Koos, a 4th grader, was seriously injured in an accident. To support her family, we are organizing a donation drive this Wednesday, September 25th. We invite everyone to take part in "Flannels for Nalani." Please wear a flannel and send contributions (any amount) to school in an envelope that will be collected by the teachers. Any additional contributions can also be brought directly to the main office on Wednesday. Thank you for your support!

Mrs. Miller's 8th Grade Technology Elective Class learned about AI generated pictures. They did an activity to show how it does so step by step. AI is much faster than 8th Graders!
