Picture day for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade is next week on Tuesday, September 10th. (Preschool students will have their own picture day in March).

The Runnin' Braves visited Metamora on Saturday, August 24th, for the 4th annual Redbird Invite! The Varsity boys all topped their 2023 2-mile times at Black Partridge Park, while the Lady Braves did as well, additionally earning an 8th place team finish out of 24 teams and a medal for Saratoga representative Emme Bibly! The Open boys and girls placed 5th out of 24 squads, with several PRs to round out a great day on the course. Morris Cross Country continues its fall season at home against Sandwich on Wednesday and travels to Channahon on Thursday! Go Braves!!

The Runnin' Braves hosted their first-ever Cross Country meet at their new home course at Heidecke Lake this past Monday! The Braves had some great races against Newark-Millbrook and Odell to break in the trails at Heidecke, earning some great finishes and new PRs in the process. Many thanks to the Goose Lake Prairie State Natural Area and the Illinois State DNR for helping to make our new home course a reality for our runners!

On Tuesday, the Morris Braves Golf Team competed in the Sandwich Invite held at Edgebrook Country Club. The Braves were well represented by Nolan Tucker, Colin Brooks, Mason Dub-Orf, and Tate Lafond. The highlight of the day for The Braves was on the girls' side. Maddy Hansen came in first place and was the individual girl's champion. Congrats Maddy and great job to all the Braves golfers. They will be back in action Thursday night at Nettle Creek Country Club.
